Installation

To install Sendit, follow these steps:

  1. Get a workflow going to see your site’s output either with CloudCannon or Next.js locally.
  2. Develop using Next.js version 13.0.4.
  3. Edit Sendit by adding, updating, or removing pages, components, posts, portfolio items, company details, and footer elements in CloudCannon.
  4. To add, update, or remove a post in the Posts collection, access the Posts section in CloudCannon. The Staff Author field is linked to members in the Staff collection. You can also change the defaults when new posts are created in the content/posts/_defaults.md file.
  5. Company details can be reused around the site to save multiple editing locations. Set them in the Data / Company section.
  6. Nav/footer details can also be reused around the site to save multiple editing locations. Set them in the Data section with respective names.
  7. Theme colors can be set in the Data / Theme section. The main colors are set, and variants of them are computed. The colors will update on the next build.
